The stars of the Golf World meet at the Turkish Airlines Open

Our goal at Corporate Club is to give our corporate clients the best times possible. With this in mind we organized the Corporate Club conference and invited executives from all over the world with our corporate clients and travel agencies. All participants enjoyed themselves greatly. After Felix Baumgartner gave us a delightful chat at our conference, the Turkish Airlines Open Golf tournament gave all of our guests an equally memorable experience. The name that probably drew the most attention was the world famous golfer Tiger Woods. Woods' first major victory was in the 1997 Masters and since then he's widely been considered the best golfer in the world. He kicked off this tournament by hitting a ball across the Bosphorus Bridge. Right after this shot he rushed to Antalya Belek to compete with other famous golfers such as Henrik Stenson, Justin Rose and Lee Westwood. The French golfer Victor Dubuisson won the tournament, with the Welsh golfer Jamie Donaldson coming second. Third was split between the aforementioned Tiger Woods and the British golfer Justin Rose. Amongst all the famous international names who competed in the Turkish Airlines Open Golf Tournament, the Turkish competitor who places the highest was Hamza Sayın.

"Flying Man" in Turkey with Turkish Airlines!

The Corporate Club Conference was happy to welcome Australian parachutist and skydiver Felix Baumgartner. Here in Belek we met with the daredevil who had broken the 52-year-old record for highest dive in 2012. The famous world-record holder chatted with our clients from all corners of the globe and used the opportunity to exchange ideas. The conference featured many of the leading names in the travel industry and we should add that the exchange of ideas was widely felt to be mutually beneficial to all. In 2012 Baumgartner set the world record by diving from 39 meters up and falling at a speed of 833.9 mph. In 1999 in Malaysia he broke another world record by parachuting off the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. Also in 2003 he became the first person to skydive across the English Channel with carbon fiber wings. Our famous guest also wrote his name in the record books in Rio de Janeiro, at the Millau Viaduct, and the Turning Torso, Taipei. This meeting presented a special experience for our corporate clients, and the conversation was colored famous daredevil's pleasant demeanor and laughs all around. The skydiver's arrival to Antalya with Turkish Airlines led him to describe his experiences: “I’m very happy to be here in Antalya. I also want to say that my flight with TA was amazing. Especially, the atmosphere and hospitality. I felt like home. Thanks everyone.” After a nice chat with participants Felix Baumgartner was kind enough to answer a few questions and added that he couldn't have been more pleased with the Turkish Airlines model aircraft that he was gifted.
